Our prices are based on hanging/dressed weight. We send our hogs to the butcher when they reach about 250lbs. An average hog's hanging weight is about 70-73% of the live weight (approx. 180lbs). Please read About Buying farm-Fresh Meat section for more information about hog weights, pricing and cuts.
When your hog is scheduled into the butcher, you'll be notified by email, and you can submit your cut-sheet. You can pick up your meat directly from the butcher, or for a fee, have it delivered depending on the location. Talk to us about setting up special delivery.
Pork is available year round. Beef is available with pre-orders at certain times during the year. Depending on when you place an order, your meat share may be ready within a few weeks, or up to a few months. To reserve your share, a deposit is required.
